Simulation and parameterization of longitudinal development in extensive air showers for different hadronic interaction models

چکیده
The simulation analysis of the Extensive Air Showers (EAS) was executed by exploring longitudinal development employing AIRES system (version 19.04.00) for several hadronic interaction models (SIBYLL, QGSJET, and EPOS) high energies. performed different energies (1017, 1018, 1019) eV two dissimilar primary particles, proton as well iron nuclei, with zenith angles values (0o, 10o, 30o). shower size parameterized using sigmoidal function (Boltzmann model) gave a new four parameters functions energy between extent (1017-1019) eV. comparison among acquired results data (the number particles) along experimental (Pierre Auger experiment) had offered fascinating matching at fixed 1019 vertical EAS showers.

Hadronic interactions and extensive air showers
Understanding hadronic multiparticle production is important for deriving the composition and energy spectrum of primary cosmic rays from air shower measurements at high energy. In this article, predictions of hadronic interaction models are discussed, emphasizing uncertainties and constraints due to model assumptions and accelerator measurements. The sensitivity of shower observables to model ...
متن کاملHadronic multiparticle production in extensive air showers and accelerator experiments
Using CORSIKA for simulating extensive air showers, we study the relation between the shower characteristics and features of hadronic multiparticle production at low energies. We report about investigations of typical energies and phase space regions of secondary particles which are important for muon production in extensive air showers. Possibilities to measure relevant quantities of hadron pr...
متن کاملfor extensive air showers
The new hadronic Monte Carlo model QGSJET-II is applied for extensive air shower (EAS) calculations. The obtained results are compared to the predictions of the original QGSJET and of the SIBYLL 2.1 interaction models. It is shown that non-linear effects change substantially model predictions for hadron-nucleus interactions and produce observable effects for calculated EAS characteristics. Fina...
متن کاملHadronic interaction models and the air shower simulation program CORSIKA
The Monte Carlo program CORSIKA simulates the 4-dimensional evolution of extensive air showers in the atmosphere initiated by photons, hadrons or nuclei. It contains links to the hadronic interaction models DPMJET, HDPM, NEXUS, QGSJET, SIBYLL, and VENUS. These codes are employed to treat the hadronic interactions at energies above 80 GeV. Since their first implementation in 1996 the models DPMJ...
متن کاملESAF: Full Simulation of Space-Based Extensive Air Showers Detectors
Future detection of Extensive Air Showers (EAS) produced by Ultra High Energy Cosmic Particles (UHECP) by means of space based uorescence telescopes will open a new window on the universe and allow cosmic ray and neutrino astronomy at a level that is virtually impossible for ground based detectors. In this paper we summarize the results obtained in the context of the EUSO project by means of a ...
